Shipping Policy 


Please note if you require a shipping quote on items to your State within Australia please email us first at prior to placing your order online. In your email please include the item you wish to purchase, your suburb, postcode and state so we can provide an accurate shipping quote. Cancellation fees will apply if cancelling an order due to shipping costs once the payment has been made online.   

If you have selected the option of Melbourne Metro delivery rate and you order is being shipped to another state you will be invoiced the difference of the payment that is required for shipping to that area.   If you are unsure please email us or contact us via our socials for an accurate quote prior to placing the order online.




We require an Australian street or residential address for all deliveries as we cannot deliver orders to a PO Box or parcel locker.

For us to provide an efficient & effective delivery service, we ask you to inform us of any potential difficulties associated with your delivery. Furniture is also more often large & delicate; therefore, we ask that you provide us with as much information which can include measurements and or photos of the delivery path which may include staircases, lifts, steep driveways, and narrow hallways / access points. 


Vita Interiors deliver all items to Melbourne Metro Addresses however if you would like to pick up your items a pickup option is also available from our store.

Free delivery is available for all Melbourne customers that spend over $150 that are within a 50km radius from our store. Outside of that email us at and we can organise a quote for you.

Our Melbourne metro deliveries are delivered between the hours of 8am to 5pm

Once your order is paid in full items all in stock items will be processed and dispatched to you within 3-7 business days. We achieve this through using our own couriers that can offer a quick turnaround time.

*Items that need to be ordered in will take longer to deliver due to these unprecedented times impacting shipping globally extending a lead time of delivery up to 15 business days approx. 


  • You will receive a SMS or email 24hrs before to confirm date of delivery

  • Our Melbourne metro deliveries may be a ‘one man’ delivery – whereby you may be required to assist the driver.

  • Access to the residence apartment or house must be accessible and made safe for the delivery to go ahead

  • Regardless of circumstances, our delivery drivers are under no obligation to take items back unless the item is not safe to be left on the premises or there is no given access. Therefore, a re-delivery fee for items may occur.

  • Our delivery drivers are only required to deliver to ground floor unless previously discussed with customer before delivery.

  • If an item is required to go upstairs and the driver is not able to offer this, they are under no obligation to take goods back.




*Please note: Floor stock & clearance items are Melbourne Delivery only. There also may be other products not eligible for interstate delivery due to being fragile and difficult for freight packing. 

Whilst our sub-contractors take extreme care when performing your delivery, Vita Interiors will not be held liable for any damage caused when fulfilling your delivery requirement. Any damage to property must be reported directly to the sub-contractor delivery driver/team and recorded at the time of delivery.

All packaging is the responsibility of our valued clients to dispose of in a correct and sustainable manner. Our delivery partners are expected to leave all packaging with our clients upon delivery.

Our couriers offer a door-to-door service, so please ensure that there will be someone available at the nominated delivery address to sign for your items and receive the delivery. Couriers will not leave parcels unattended, unless instructed by the customer to do so.

If a delivery is in a multi-level building or requires difficult access to perform the delivery, the delivery company will not travel past the ground floor front door unless previously discussed.

Our couriers deliver to the front of your home. Should you require your furniture to be placed inside your home at your request, our courier drivers will do so whilst exercising all due care, however, Vita Interiors and our couriers accept no responsibility for damages incurred to the delivery destination premises or the furniture whereby difficult access may have led to damage being incurred. This includes damage to items being delivered and /or its contents.

If you are not there to sign off for the delivery directly you can call Vita Interiors to ‘Authorise to leave’ goods unattended prior, however this will void warranty that damage could be caused while in the hands of customer being unattended, In which case neither Vita Interiors or our couriers can be held liable for any loss, theft or damage to your item.

In the event that they have to be returned to our warehouse Vita Interiors reserves the right to charge a return and packing fee equal to the original delivery fee.



Below are some helpful tips to ensure a smooth & efficient delivery:

  • Check for clear access that we can trolley and/or carry onto your property

  • Check width of doorways & walkways to ensure we can get our products through

  • Protect & cover your floors as they may get wet & dirty from the trolley wheels and our contractors’ shoes

  • Advise of any difficult or unusual obstacles at your home. E.G. long/steep driveway, steps etc

  • Ensure there is nothing blocking the access and pathways for delivery. E.G. cars

  • Ensure your pets ae placed in a safe, enclosed area out of harms way whilst we perform your delivery



For Interstate deliveries, please allow up to 15 business days for all deliveries in case of any delays. *Please note that there may be further delays due to unforeseen circumstances which you will be notified of.



SMALL ITEMS: Will be delivered through Australia Post and delivery will cost no more than $40.

*Interstate: Shipping rates for oversized and bulky items including but not limited to lighting, furniture, artwork, large baskets and some fragile items, will be quoted to you separately upon purchase.

It must be acknowledged that shipping will be provided in a separate quote and our standard shipping does won’t apply to some products.

Online customers will be sent a consignment number to track their delivery if you are purchasing interstate. Otherwise, confirmation of dispatch of your items will be sent to the customer via an SMS message, phone call or email message.
